Electrostatic Air Filter
A-1 Service Co. has developed a (patent pending) air filtering system for
evaporative/swamp coolers, the first of it's kind.
Most homeowners are unaware that an evaporative cooler is liken to having a window
open in their home 24/7, allowing every airborne contaminant such as dust and allergens
to flow freely into the home.
While the cooler pads provide some filtering, their primary purpose is not filtering, but a
means of cooling the air that is going into the house. Once the pads get dirty from dust
and other outside contaminants, plus calcium deposits that form on some coolers, these
contaminants will be blown into a home especially if the pads are dry. Our filtering
concept will catch these contaminants before they are blown into the air duct system and
the home.
Our air filters are washable and have a lifetime warranty, to go along with our company
guarantee that if the filters placed on your cooler show no sign of dust accumulating on
them after one to two months they'll be removed and your money refunded.
Our goal is to improve the air quality in homes and believe we can accomplish that
through air duct cleaning and our exclusive air filtering system for evaporative coolers.
The current cost of retrofitting air filters on a cooler is $195.00 and offer a 10% discount,
(off the retrofitting) if the air ducts are cleaned by our company. A 20% discount, (off the
retrofitting) is offered to senior citizens over 65, and any person with proof of having a
respiratory illness regardless of having the air ducts cleaned by us, as we want to help
make them comfortable with cleaner air in their homes.
Thinking green, and another drawback of an evaporative cooler is its high use of water.
We believe savings in water and energy (and a way to pay for the retrofitting) can be
attained once a cooler is retrofitted with air filters as the use of the water pump would not
be necessary during cooler days and nights when air circulation is all that is needed.
As with our air duct cleaning, a 60 days same as cash payment plan is available.
